Like many of the world’s most revered wine varietals, Nebbiolo captures the particular characteristics of its growing site and transmits those nuances into the glass. Our Walla Walla Valley rendition of this illustrious variety is no exception. The virtues of our high-altitude Cockburn Vineyard are fully revealed in this wine’s deft balance of lively acidity and complex aromatics. Feminine aromas of rose petals are countered by masculine aromas of tar, leather, and cured meats. Notes of ginger snap, menthol, and dried orange peel linger long after swallowing.
