Shipments typically leave our facility on Mondays. If you would like the order to arrive on a specific date, please leave a note in the special instruction box when purchasing or email info@zerbacellars.com.
Shipping in hot or cold weather:
At certain times of the year during extreme heat and extreme cold, Zerba Cellars will hold the shipment in our temperature-controlled warehouse until the wine is safe to travel. If Zerba Cellars holds the shipment, the credit card used at the time the order is placed is charged so Zerba Cellars may put the wine aside for shipping later. Per Federal law, all shipments require an adult signature (21 years or older) for delivery:
An adult signature is required for wine deliveries. It is illegal to sell, furnish, or give alcohol to a minor and it is also illegal for a minor to acquire, consume, or attempt to acquire or consume alcohol.
If you are unsure you will be home to sign, we recommend shipping to your work address or local UPS location.
PO Boxes or APO/FPO: Unfortunately, USPS regulations restrict us from shipping alcohol to PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses.
Please note:
Delivery days for all shipments are estimates only. We are given an expected time in transit from the shipper but delays may occur from weather or other transit issues. We do not guarantee any delivery day. However, the shipper does make at least 3 delivery attempts before the shipment will be returned to Zerba Cellars warehouse.
For packages that are returned to us because the recipient was not available to sign: If these packages are re-shipped, the additional cost to re-ship them will be billed to the purchaser of the wine. This includes any gift orders where the gift recipient did not accept the package for delivery.
Return & Cancellation Policy:
We are able to cancel orders for a full refund up to 90 days from purchase date and/or as long as the order has not shipped yet. To cancel an order, please email info@zerbacellars.com with your order number or call 541-938-9463.
Due to the temperature-sensitive nature of wine, we are generally not able to accept returns on wine orders that have already been received by the purchaser or gift recipient. The exception would be if a member of the Zerba Cellars staff is responsible for the error (i.e., the wrong wine was packed). To inquire about this policy, please email info@zerbacellars.com
Gift Order Policy:
When ordering wine to be shipped as a gift, the recipient, as well as the person who places the order, must be 21 years or older. We require the phone number and email address of the recipient you wish to send the wine. We highly recommend shipping to the recipient’s work address so deliveries won’t be missed!
